Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.
In-house Publications
We have several writers who are encouraged to come up with creations that are regularly published in our in-house magazines. We host a book sale every 2 years to promote our writers and their work.
Performing Arts & Music
With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more. We organize exhibitions, concerts and musical events to encourage our students to own their talent and flourish in those fields.
Excursion & Expedition
The process of teaching and learning is not limited to the walls of classrooms. Knowledge is abundantly available in the world outside too. The students can be exposed to variety of knowledge in the outer world by arranging school excursions. By this, they will acquire a sense of adjustment and learn to live with new people at new places away from their parents. Every year we organize educational excursions to make the students have thrilling experiences of life. Meticulously crafted, these excursions are not only an event of enjoyment but a golden opportunity to learn and explore the history, culture, geography, environment, eco-systems, agriculture, food pattern, costumes etc. The Students are escorted by the teachers throughout the trip for their care and safety. The school doesn’t have a special fund to meet the expense of the trips. Therefore, we ask the parents to make a voluntary contribution to cover the expenditure required.

Cambridge Vidyalaya Event's
The Founder’s Day is celebrated every year on 21st July in the fondest memory of our founder president Prof. Bharat Gavhane Sir. He was a multidimensional personality. The school where we learn today is a manifestation of his versatile genius.He was a born teacher as well as a skilled administrator. He was an ever spirited, smiling and enthusiastic personality not only for his colleagues but for others too. His thinking, vision and teaching is still a guiding star to us. In our journey, we follow his principles and feel being accompanied by him to reach our destination.
In order to realize his place in our life and his contribution to the school we commemorate the founder’s day in a very grand style, forgetting our sorrows for the time being. We organize various entertaining cum didactic programs in the way he would love to and watch them through rolling tears and smiling face.

Sharing wisdom
Annual Sports & Cultural Meet
We offer the change for our students to give knowledge, build friendship and exhibit teamwork skills outside the classrooms through co-curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, music & drama, community visit, local field trips, annual excursions and expeditions. These reinforce the values in the school’s mission statement and help to nurture our students to become well – rounded individuals.
Cambridge vidyalaya promotes health, fitness and sportsmanship by encouraging individual and team sports. This also provides each student an opportunity to develop citizenship traits such as co-operation, leadership, self discipline and respect. Chess, carrom, Badminton, Basket Ball, Lawn tennis, skating. Rope skipping, Lagori, Ring Bell, Swimming, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Lezim, etc. have competitions within the school. Students also compete at District, Regional, State and National tournaments in various sports disciplines.
