OUR HISTORY

Since we opened 1st Std. (English Medium) on 17th April 2002, Cambridge Vidyalaya has gone through many changes as it endeavors to keep in line with change in curriculum and technology. In the year of globalization and its dynamic effects on education field, we also established international linkages under connecting classrooms program of British Council.

It is a global education program offering learning journey to improve our classroom practices and develop new Ideas with like-minded schools internationally. By developing and networking with thousands of schools across the world we aim to help our students build the
knowledge, skills and values to live and work in a globalized world.

Under the connecting classroom program our students got connected to international Schools of South Africa and Britain. They worked on template projects with the students & teachers abroad, learning more experiences with a school from  different culture & context and reapply them at our home school.

All the work on the Projects is completed by the students under the guidance of their respective teachers. This has brought world into classroom and a new window into different cultures and countries. It increased comparison studies and our ‘Global Approach’.

We incorporated many better Practices of learning, teaching and curriculum to enhance our own techniques. Our Students’ hard work has gained recognition by Accrediting International School Award twice for the period of 2011 to 2014 and 2015 to 2018. Having this good experience in hand Cambridge vidyalaya Plans to develop more international linkages with various schools across the world, so that our students can be prepared for global opportunities that await them.
